Every food item you buy in the supermarket should be treated accordingly. Not all of them should be stored in the refrigerator as some of them can live happily and longer in the pantry. Check out this list of foods which you might be incorrectly storing inside your fridge.

1. Hot Sauce - can be placed in the pantry and can last up to three years.

3. Bread - should be placed in a room temperature and must be consumed within four days.

4. Onion - can be placed inside a mesh bag and stored in the pantry. However, keep it away from potatoes as it emits moisture and gases causing it to rot easily.
